Should We Stage or Leave the House Empty?

It’s interesting to see how many people would rather leave a vacant room or house completely empty rather than furnishing the space when trying to sell it. Doing such a thing could be even more detrimental to the sale of a home than a poorly decorated home. How so? Well, most buyers need help visualizing a property becoming their very own home. A vacant house can be very unappealing because it can feel empty and impersonal. Buyers only know what they see. And if they see an empty room, they will either think that the space is too small or too big for their personal items. By furnishing the property, you not only provide some personality, but also add in visual objects to better help buyers assess the actual size and layout of their home.
